At the heart of Jesuit spirituality is the conviction that God is present and active in every part of life. This belief, first articulated by St. Ignatius of Loyola, invites us to look beyond the extraordinary and discover God in the ordinary— in work and rest, struggle and joy, silence and service. For the Jesuit Province Society (JPS), finding God in all things is not only a spiritual insight but a way of living and serving. It calls us to remain attentive to God’s presence in people, communities, and the realities we encounter each day.

A Way of Living and Discerning

This Ignatian way helps us hold together interior reflection and outward action. Through prayer, discernment, and thoughtful decision-making, we seek to listen deeply to where God is leading us—both individually and as a community.

It encourages freedom of spirit, while also embracing responsibility, discipline, and commitment to the common good. In this balance, faith becomes active and love takes concrete form.

Faith in Action

Finding God in all things moves us toward action. It urges us to engage with the world as it is—walking with the poor, accompanying the young, caring for creation, and working for justice and reconciliation.

For JPS, this approach shapes how we design our ministries, form leaders, and respond to the needs of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Every work, whether educational, social, pastoral, or cultural, becomes a place of encounter with God.

A Shared Journey

This way of proceeding is shared by Jesuits and collaborators alike. It invites all who walk with us to be attentive, reflective, and generous in service—constantly discerning how best to serve God and humanity in today’s changing world.

In seeking to find God in all things, we remain rooted in faith, guided by discernment, and committed to building a more just, compassionate, and hope-filled society.
