Healthcare & Well-Being
Delivering Accessible Healthcare
The challenge
Over 60% of rural populations lack access to primary healthcare, leading to high rates of preventable diseases, maternal mortality, and malnutrition.
Among tribal communities, infant mortality rates are 30% higher than the state average, and many rely on traditional medicine due to the absence of medical infrastructure.
The lack of affordable healthcare, trained professionals, and awareness about preventive health further deepens inequalities, leaving vulnerable populations without essential medical support.

Our approach
Jesuit Province Society bridges these gaps through mobile medical units, rural dispensaries, community health worker training, and health awareness programmes.
Our initiatives focus on maternal and child health, nutrition, disease prevention, and emergency medical aid, ensuring timely healthcare access in remote and underserved regions.
Our healthcare efforts extend beyond treatment—we work to build resilient communities by promoting long-term health education, prevention strategies, and access to essential medical services.
