Relief & Rehabilitation
Providing immediate relief and long-term recovery support
The challenge
Natural disasters, displacement, and economic crises disproportionately impact marginalised communities, leaving them vulnerable to food insecurity, loss of livelihood, and homelessness.
In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, over 30% of rural households face financial distress due to climate-related disasters, while thousands of displaced individuals struggle to rebuild their lives without structured support.
Pandemics, floods, and unforeseen crises intensify vulnerabilities, making immediate relief and long-term rehabilitation essential for recovery.

Our approach
Jesuit Province Society provides emergency aid, livelihood restoration, and housing support to affected families.
Through food distribution, temporary shelter, medical assistance, dry ration kits, and grief counselling, we help communities recover and regain stability.
Our interventions go beyond immediate relief—we focus on long-term resilience, skill-based rehabilitation, and economic rebuilding, ensuring that people can sustain themselves beyond the crisis.
