Social Action & Justice

Advocating for Rights, Equality, and Social Justice

The challenge

  • Dalit, tribal, and other marginalised communities in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana continue to face discrimination, exclusion, and systemic inequalities.

  • Over 60% of Dalits and tribal populations encounter barriers to accessing government welfare schemes, while women, migrant workers, and daily wage labourers struggle with legal and financial insecurity.

  • Political deprivation and lack of awareness about rights further leave these communities vulnerable to exploitation, displacement, and generational poverty.

  • Without structured legal aid, advocacy, and grassroots mobilisation, systemic injustices remain unchallenged and perpetuated.

Our approach

  • JPS is committed to restoring dignity and ensuring justice through legal literacy, human rights advocacy, and community empowerment programmes.

  • Our Social Action Centres facilitate rights-based education, legal support, and policy engagement, ensuring that individuals can access justice and social security.

  • We guide young legal professionals in advocacy, build people’s forums, and empower youth and women to become social change agents.

  • Through networking, grassroots leadership, and social accountability efforts, we enable individuals to challenge discrimination, claim their rights, and work towards a society where justice and dignity are accessible to all.
