Social Action & Justice
Advocating for Rights, Equality, and Social Justice
The challenge
Dalit, tribal, and other marginalised communities in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana continue to face discrimination, exclusion, and systemic inequalities.
Over 60% of Dalits and tribal populations encounter barriers to accessing government welfare schemes, while women, migrant workers, and daily wage labourers struggle with legal and financial insecurity.
Political deprivation and lack of awareness about rights further leave these communities vulnerable to exploitation, displacement, and generational poverty.
Without structured legal aid, advocacy, and grassroots mobilisation, systemic injustices remain unchallenged and perpetuated.

Our approach
JPS is committed to restoring dignity and ensuring justice through legal literacy, human rights advocacy, and community empowerment programmes.
Our Social Action Centres facilitate rights-based education, legal support, and policy engagement, ensuring that individuals can access justice and social security.
We guide young legal professionals in advocacy, build people’s forums, and empower youth and women to become social change agents.
Through networking, grassroots leadership, and social accountability efforts, we enable individuals to challenge discrimination, claim their rights, and work towards a society where justice and dignity are accessible to all.
