Youth Empowerment
Equipping Young People to Lead Change
The challenge
Unemployment among youth (15-29 years) stands at 17.8%, with rural youth having even fewer opportunities for skill development and career growth.
Many lack access to education, accompaniment, career guidance, leadership, and soft skills, leaving them discouraged and under-equipped for the challenges of the world.
Without structured empowerment programmes, youth are often forced into low-paying, unskilled labour, limiting their potential for holistic empowerment.

Our approach
JPS bridges this gap through our initiatives like YES-J (Youth Empowering Service - Jesuits) and AICUF.
This mission aims to bring intellectual, social, emotional, spiritual, and practical help to the youth in need through education, vocational training, leadership training, communication skills, personality development programmes, and life skills.
Our programmes focus on real-world issues, ensuring that young people transition successfully from education to empowerment.
